Starboy Lands In Tampa

I decided to go to The Weeknd concert last minute. Best decision I have ever made. After being let down by his Coachella performance his tour made up for it. I have been a Weeknd fan since the Tumblr days and I always wanted to see him live. His Tampa tour stop was an epic experience. The set design, set list, and energy were great.

Now the only letdown had to be the merch. It looked like they took one iron on sheet and just ironed it on a shirt. It was not screen printed and after Tik Tok videos showed merch peeling I was scared to buy anything. As a merch junkie and always needing a t-shirt I was just not impressed by the quality and looks of it

Now the show had the perfect amount of energy. Singing his old hits to his newest hits he gave everyone something to look forward to. When he played “Low Life” I almost lost it. His verse on this song is my favorite and he did not disappoint. Now I wish he would have performed “D.D” or “Prisoner” but we can’t have it all. The light-up wristbands added to the experience and were very cool! The set looked like a futuristic city yet apocalyptic as it transitioned throughout the show. The moon was very neat and looked so cool when he performed next to it. Overall a great show!
