Get Your Sh!t Together

It’s a new year… although there is so much we can not control there is so much we can. My 2020 ended in an unfortunate way, but I gained so much perspective on what family and friends actually mean. To get out of a bad headspace I turned to getting prepared for 2021 and tackling my dreams and goals. My goals for this year include improved time management, wellness, and more leisure time.

-Need a great minimal planner? I was introduced to MUJI by a friend and I am obsessed! The pens, notebook, and stationary section are just perfect. Just for the record, I’ve struggled to find a great planner for my entire life. (Check it out https://muji.lu/39i8Vqe)

-Wellness goals are important. They tackle more than body appearance and my goal is to look good and feel good. Mental health, water intake, weight management- all of it! To do this I needed functional clothing and shoes. Recently I have been shopping the Lululemon “We’ve made too much” section to score great deals on shorts. Also, check out their outlets for even better deals. For shoes, I was put on Nobull training shoes by my cousin. They are so comfortable and provide great support. - For my leisure time I have always turned to magazines. Vogue, GQ, Esquire, Rolling Stones, and more. Being able to see someone else’s vision brought to life through print is amazing and I appreciate it. Just a side note PRINT IS NOT DEAD. I have also started picking up side projects to help out local businesses. I have three now but would love to be a freelance social media manager. Although some people see this as work I see it as a fun exercise to push myself to be more creative. Oh, also this site is fun for me even though I have not been writing and posting as much. I plan to change that.
