Coachella Recap 2022

I went to Coachella! I have waited two years for this moment to happen and it finally happened! I was able to return to the desert and enjoy some awesome sets. Highlights were Harry Styles, Billie, Karol G, and Doja Cat. I missed The Marias and Emotional Oranges which is a HUGE disappointment and need to make sure next time people get ready on time.

We went to week one and I feel as though there was a lot of chaos. Parking on day one took about an hour, so many people, crowds were insane trying to get into Yuma, no mobile ordering merch, sold out lockers, merch line was over two hours. I am no event organizer but we can learn a lot from Disney and provide mobile ordering for food, better parking, better queue lines, and more signs! Also spread out the acts just a little bit more because so many clashed with each other.

On the bright side, Harry Styles killed it! I have seen him in Tampa and his set and stage presence are just on point. Even his outfit is killer, I mean who doesn’t want to wear Gucci! I am in shock over how close we were to Billie like a few people in front of us and then BOOM there she is! I have seen Billie twice before and this was my favorite performance. “ilomilo” is my favorite song and I was just so happy to see it live again.

I am going to do a separate outfit post but I can not end without mentioning that I had watermelon at Coachella. Coachella + watermelon = my heaven! I had watermelon pizza which was so refreshing and cooling. Then I had regular sliced watermelon and that was just part of the highlights of Coachella 2022. I can not forget to shout out Monty’s! I paid $25 for a burger, fries, and sparkling lemonade. That’s a deal and a vibe! So good and I miss it so much! We ❤️ Monty’s!
